Is it incorrect to call the Christian god God?

Truly, it is incorrect to call him GOD or LORD (as it says in the King James version of the Bible) but rather his true name, Yahweh or Jehovah. It just bothers me when I see Christians calling their god God instead of the proper name for Him.
