Question about Yahweh?

So Yahweh was a Mesopotamian god, one of many gods in a polytheistic religion. Abraham and the first Jews made a covenant with Yahweh to worship him alone in order to be his chosen people. As far as i know, they never denied the existence of the other Mesopotamian gods but just chose to ignore them. I'm not too familiar with the old or new testament, but is it possible that Judaism, and by extension Christianity and Islam, secretly acknowledge the existence of other Mesopotamian gods but just don't pay them any attention? Quoting some evidence from the old and/or new testaments would suffice for an answer.
