My Sims 3 is not reinstalling or launching?

So I had a virus on my computer and to get rid of it I opened my task manager and all that and deleted all the processes until I could stop the virus, which I did. So after like a week of my computer working fine I tried to play Sims 3. But then I realized that in the process of getting rid of the virus, I had deleted all the files pertaining to Sims. SO I thought I could just put in the disc and when the window popped up that says Auto play, and there are options to Run Auto run or Open folder to view files, I click on the Run Auto run, but then nothing happens. Please help, I've tried everything. I know that there's nothing wrong with my computer because all other disc games work like Sims life Stories and roller coaster tycoon. Please help. Thanks.
