Why are my games' colors inverting?

among searching through the internet i have found that i am the only person to ever have this problem. when i'm playing roller coaster tycoon 2 or chris sawyers locomotion after about 5 minutes of game-play the entire games' colors mysteriously completely invert. I am running windows 7 professional with an AMD Radeon video card
