Christians, does the fact that you're following a polytheistic religion?

Even if you are correct in this kind of history, the Trinity dogma/doctrine is based upon the very foundation that there is only ONE God. It is impossible to formulate or even to remotely explain it without that basic concept. For the Trinity is based upon the self awareness of one God who knows Himself and is capable of acting upon that knowledge. The Trinity is about the basic thoughts and actions of one God who IS His own basic thoughts and actions of self awareness. That is why the dogma specifically states that there are not three gods but only ONE God. You just cannot get more clear than verbatim. Anyone who says otherwise are deliberately trying misrepresent the facts.
