Don't Cons realize that their nominee must appeal to many more voters than just those far, far, far to right?

Michelle Bachmann would lose in a landslide as would most of the others. Jonathan Huntsman possibly could win because he would even pull in some Democratic votes. However, the GOP would not even attract most Independents if Bachmann gets the nomination.
