Error on Zoo Tycoon 1 complete collection?

When I have 'downloaded' Zoo Tycoon complete collection using Utorrent. I installed both disks and everything was fine and I replaced the exe. file but when I came to play it, the first 2 small cutscene-type things from the makers appear (Blue Fang and Microsoft) , then I quickly see the menu with and the loading bar but it only moves a fraction then crashes (the screen goes black quickly then I back to my desktop). How can I fix this? Help me please?
